Far from mass production, there are still places where textiles are made slowly, by hand, in the light of a garden. Villa Kirane is one of them. It is here, in the heart of Jaipur, that all our pieces are born. We wanted to open its doors to you.
Jaipur, a city that inspires creation every second
“The Kirane adventure could only exist here, in India, in Jaipur.” This is how Karine, our founder, describes the choice of the Pink City. Jaipur is a city where creativity springs up on every corner: on the walls, in architectural details, on women's saris, in murals, and in bouquets of flowers. A breath of inspiration, colors, and freshness at every moment.
Jaipur is also a crossroads of ideas, cultures, and influences. Designers from all over the world come to stay, draw, and imagine. All these encounters gently infuse each of our creations.

A traditional house transformed into a workshop
In 2018, we had the opportunity to create our own manufacturing workshop: Villa Kirane. A small traditional house, in the heart of the Pink City, which we painted in the colors of India, with a beautiful garden. This is where we design, print, and sew – all together.
What makes this place different? We take our time. We sometimes work in the garden, in conditions that are nothing like a classic office. For us, this was essential: a place of creation and manufacturing that feels more like a family life than a business.

The demanding choice not to outsource
Having our own workshop rather than entrusting production to subcontractors was important to us from day one. This allows us to be close to our teams and to manufacture differently:
- Slowly and consciously
- In small quantities — no overproduction, no unnecessary stock
- In a short circuit, to constantly adjust as closely as possible to sales
- Approaching zero waste: our fabric scraps are reused for pouches, bags, and small accessories
Manufacturing in-house is also a way to remain faithful to a certain idea of beauty: one that takes its time.
A human adventure above all
Some team members have been with us for over eight years. Lunch is delivered daily in tiffins, the traditional small lunchboxes, and the entire team shares the meal together. Behind every Kirane piece, there are these hands, these gestures, these smiles.
“Kirane is not just a brand: it's a human adventure.”
