A faded pink, a deep khaki, a warm coffee, a sunny ochre… Kirane colors have a particular, almost living intensity. Their secret? They don't come from a machine, but from nature itself.
Colors born from nature
We work mainly with natural pigments, always on cottons and natural materials. Most of our shades are obtained from crushed nuts, leaves, and flowers. They color the fabrics with a reaction to sun and light — a slow, living, unpredictable process.
“It's always impressive to see the number of colors you can get,” says Karine. In Jaipur, the chromatic richness is immense: it allows us to give this vibrant touch to our patterns, and to express on fabric almost all the ideas that arise when you are a textile designer.

Why choose natural dyes?
Beyond beauty, this choice makes sense. Natural pigments are part of a respectful approach:
- Colors without aggressive chemicals, on natural fibers
- A low-impact process that uses sun and light
- A unique patina: natural shades live and develop a beautiful patina over time
- The preservation of ancestral Rajasthani craftsmanship
One shade, a thousand nuances
This is the beauty of natural: no two pieces are ever perfectly identical. Slight variations in shade testify to the work of the hand and the material. What industry would call a defect is, for us, a signature — proof that your piece is unique.
